We verify 2 main components during the validation process. First, the website URL and support E-mail address. We make sure the URL is valid and legitimate and the web seal displays the verified URL for authenticity purposes. We also verify the websites customer support E-mail is valid and working. This process is very quick and takes only a short time to complete.

The second part of the verification is to validate business information. We collect, confirm, and monitor submitted business addresses and customer support phone numbers. This process depends on how soon information is submitted for verification. We require a document to be faxed or mailed to our offices that contain business name, address, and phone number. We also call support phone numbers to verify they are accurate.
